Bass In Space

Des Slow has been in a number of bands over the years, initially dadaist performance and anarcho-punk. Des Slow and The Stop Pills first formed in the grey suburbs of South East London in the late 80s, recording a couple of demos before Des relocated to a Scottish Island and aside from an occasional strum stopped making music.

In the mid 90s he started to make experimental sounds digitally, producing several digital download albums, several project demos and a collaborative project (De Stijl) with Peter James aka Still. Des has ongoing projects developing war ambient soundscapes and work focusing on ‘the red terror’ of the 1970s and beyond.
