Drumagick - Win The Game (Digital Single)

The next Bmr Music release, out on late April 2016 is a kings of the Drum’n Bossa digital single that brings the Soul music closer to the Brazilian Drum and Bass.

The Drumagick brothers are well known by travelling thru the musical multiverse over almost two decades in a like folk mission, “it is our life style” explains Guilherme Lopes.

This tune has the vocal romantism of the Brasilian songs sung by the brothers, a playful, seduction vibe bass line, where the electric strings evolves with the virtual sine waves beyond the registered mark beats revisiting elements from the 70s and the 80s. This track calls for the more tropical and sophisticated moments of the party.

This single is full of tools options for the DJs like the “remixzen” that takes the song to a completely different and deep dimension, very appropriate for ambient and lounge vibes. The DJ Tools and the stem packs gives total freedom to those DJs that love to deeper explore their record boxes.

You gotta keep fighting and playing. That’s the spirit of “Win The Game”.

O próximo lançamento a sair pela Bmr Music no final de Abril de 2016 é um single dos reis do Drum n' Bossa, o Drumagick, que traz a Soul music pra mais perto do Brazilian Drum and Bass. Aliás, os irmãos são conhecidos mundo afora por viajar pelo multiverso musical ao longo de quase duas décadas numa espécie de missão folclórica. "É o nosso estilo de vida" diz Guilherme Lopes.

O som, tem o romantismo das canções brasileiras nos vocais gravados pela própria dupla, baixo brincalhão com ar de sedução onde as cordas elétricas e senóides virtuais envolvem-se além da batida de marca registrada, recebendo desta vez a visita de elementos dos anos 70 e 80. A faixa pede para ser tocada em momentos mais tropicais ou sofisticados do baile.

Este single está recheado de opções como o "remixzen" que leva a música à uma outra dimensão, bem recebida em ambientes lounge. O pacote de DJ Tools e o formato de stems dá total liberdade ao DJ, adepto deste novo jeito de comandar o som.

Detached Audio proudly welcomes Tesseract Recordings' head honcho D Flect for his debut EP on the imprint. Having previously appeared on the label with a free download which charted at #6 on the Hypeddit Top 100 Drum & Bass tracks, this talented artist displays his jazz-inspired liquid sound over three tracks, while recruiting Detached Audio boss K2T for a remix of his older piece for us.

Up first is 'Petrichor'. Ambient soundscapes and a delicate piano line pave the way for a gorgeous, grooving track which packs a surprising amount of weight with its rumbling bassline.

'Memory' comes next, in which we see D Flect taking a deeper approach to his sound. Jazzy saxophones take the lead in this stripped back, hypnotic track, with atmospheric soundscapes taking the listener away.

The third track in this project is the title track, 'Empty Places'. A gentle piano line is coupled with a 1920s-esque vocal that instantly captivate. Fleeting amen fills through the track add moments of tension, contrasting perfectly with the peaceful vibe of the track.

Finally, label boss K2T returns after his critically acclaimed debut album to remix 'Any Place on Earth', the free download D Flect released with us. By transforming the serene original into a bouncier affair with gliding basslines and reworked piano hooks, K2T brings us an earworm of a remix, guaranteed to get stuck in our heads.

This EP is D Flect's first EP in 5 years' time, and he has certainly brought about a cohesive body of work which works both as individual products, and as a fully fledged project.
