In the space of two short years Shlømo has quickly established himself alongside the likes of Marcelus, Bambounou, Francois X and the Antinote Records crew as a key figure in Paris’ current techno generation. Having established his own Taapion Records label in 2013 and built a roster around a core of local producers including Roman Poncet, PVNV and Antigone, in addition to enlisting Stephen Brown, Conforce and Sterac as remixers for the label’s releases so far.

For its fifth release, Bright Sounds - run by fellow Parisian Kennedy Smith - revisits last year’s Rechaïm ‎EP (BSRX003), with a trio of remixers offering their own takes on Shlømo’s established deep and expansive sound.

First up is the aforementioned 50 Weapons artist Bambounou, who offers a dynamic groove-based version of the title track that bounces along an elastic kick drum with cut-up fragments of the original’s atmospheric pads providing further impetus.  Label owner Kennedy Smith takes on Theory Is The Worst by bringing its dub textures to the for while filling the track’s empty spaces with intricate drum patterns.

Finally, Italian techno pioneer Donato Dozzy turns Grounded Queen into a classic Dozzy slow-burning techno trip, with his trademark layered sound complimenting the track’s subtle rhythmic backbone.

Vittorio Di Mango is an Italian DJ/producer from the class of 97 who was born in Trani, a small city in the south of Italy. Vittorio's first approach to electronic music was in 2012 when he played in little clubs in his city and those nearby. In 2014 he became interested in Techno music by taking part as a resident DJ in a local organisation called "White XXX", which later led him to exhibit with such important artists including D. Carbone, Ascion, Wrong assessment, Dax J, PVS, AnD, Phase Fatale, Samuel Kerridge. His musical sets are characterized by a weaving of modern Techno with that of sounds such as acid, industrial and ebm.

— Идеальная туса - это когда вода и кофе бесплатно.
— Образ России за границей многогранен. В основном к нам относятся как к одному большому технофлуду, в котором царят маразм, непрофессионализм и нечестность. Хотя есть и очень мощные промогруппы и лейблы, которые вышли на мировой уровень, добились огромных успехов и вызывают теплые чувства у слушателей во всех уголках земного шара.
— Моя цель - поехать учиться варить охренительный американо в студию Abbey Road. Ну и параллельно подглядывать, как отцы работают (Abbey Road Studios - студия звукозаписи, где записывались The Beatles, считается одной из самых крутых в мире. В этой студии для звукорежиссеров варят эталонный американо, который заряжает на весь оставшийся день. Отсюда шутка о том, что не ясно, для чего больше хотят попасть в студию - посмотреть, как работают мастера или попробовать легендарный кофе).
— Чем я горжусь? Новыми берцами «Фарадей», которые купил на днях. 
— Если бы до конца жизни я мог слушать только троих музыкальных исполнителей, это были бы Alexey Volkov, Draag и ID 303.
