In full respect of such a single work and keeping our tradition we completed the pack with a worldwide remix conspiracy involving the the Argentine Juan Lombardo, the Japanese Shiro and our homeboys Curly Project.

Mat.Joe sure had an impressive breakthrough ride last year including worldwide recognition, endless touring schedule and an impressive catalogue of tracks and remixes including acclaimed eps in OFF which quickly scouted them as core artists. 2014 started as busy as expected for the Berlin duo, with tracks and remixes in Suara, Stil Von Talent and our own 5 year talent compilation. Hot as they are, we thought this was a good time for another EP, and they delivered an impressive pair of floor movers with their usual versatility and good taste.
"Way Too Bad" shows their sampling skills with a rolling groove full of soul that swirls nicely over funky drums and a killer bassline. 

On the b side, "Brighton Beach" shows a deeper, thoughtful escapade, with synth keys and arpeggios slilding into a big boom bass creating an uplifting vibe for a very special time in the night. 

Both tracks capture the essence of Mat.Joe while being perfect tools for different moments and feelings. Another true gem from the OFF camp!

Deteque is a dj and producer who’s based in Verona. He falls in love with electronic music through a friends who slowly introduces him to d.j.ing as well , hitting small clubs in his area.
He loves clubbing both in Italy and Europe, getting more and more in the scene until when, in his 20′s, he moves to Rome where he spins records in several parties and, in 2007, starts his own weekly event called D-side, where he organize as well as resident dj working with artists and friends like Tigerskin aka Dub Taylor, P.Toile, Daniel.fx, Till Von Sein and many others. He also played in several clubs all over europe like the famous Tresor in Berlin.
In 2009 is first release on Radioactiva rec, in 2010 two realeses on Deepsessions rec and Circuit rec. Great succes in 2011 with “Something special Ep” on Deep Nota Rec, amazing deep house label from New York. In 2012 he becomes one of the leading artists and partner of Slowpitch Crew. His great music knowledge led him to develope his sound ranging from deep to techno, his flow is famous among the ones who get to follow him when he is behind the dj booth.
