Shipwrecked is a roleshift AU that makes role changes based on popular ships. These are not necessarily ships that we believe in, just ones that have some popularity within the fandom.
I'd classify the AU as taking itself half-seriously. It legitimately has its own style and ideas, but it acknowledges how silly its own premise is.
The AU details a timeline after a botched reset by Asriel, in which he gets to be the protagonist, but no one remembers him. Not even his parents. No one...except for maybe one person...

Due to the popularity of Chasriel, Chara takes the role of Asriel.

(Geez, this is a hideous amount of views...well, I'm glad that you all like the song! I won't force you to listen to my other stuff, but...y'know, if you felt up to it, I wouldn't mind.)

Were it not for the Quicksliver Soundcloud account and Inverted Fate, I would have left Undertale behind a long time ago. (Similarly, I wouldn't be thinking of DDLC anymore were it not for the thing I'm...ah, forget it.) But, I must admit, I'm a sucker for good music, and Toadie is particularly good at tickling my neurons in just the way I like with their tunes. So here we are.

Anyhow, though this is a bit of an odd choice for a song to cover, I liked having the original on in the background as I did my work. So much so that I decided to add a motif or two from Fallen Down and BAaTH that I thought would fit thematically (what with Undyne taking the Asriel role and having that whole "determination" gimmick, like the player). Hopefully they aren't too intrusive. Unfortunately, I couldn't quite recreate the sound of the original as well as I wanted to, but c'est la vie.

Like I said on my last UTSC-related post, I'd ask that you don't follow me if you're primarily interested in Undertale-related content, since I'm trying to avoid making and consuming it. That said, if you like Soundclowns and Mashups, stay awhile! You might like what you find here. (I may eventually remake that old BAaTH that I made a year or so ago, since it sounds rather terrible, but don't count on it happening soon.)

(Also, though it should go without saying, I'm not part of any of the Quicksilver AU's, and I have no say in what happens in them. I drew the thumbnail because it looked cool and made thematic sense to me, but I am under no illusion that it's accurate to the story, and you shouldn't be either.)

Hey, Spudward here (since I only communicate through descriptions). Me and Wicher both decided that it didn't feel right to leave the AU where it was. JAUU is over, but you guys deserve better than just a sudden and abrupt ending.
But we don't really want to speak for you folks. We want to end this in a manner that'll satisfy you, so why not just ask you?
2 tracks will be by me, 2 will be by Wicher, and then we'll collaborate on the final one and let JAUU die in a more respectful manner.
