On the upcoming April 20th, we are thrilled to present the latest edition of Session 4i20, our annual VA that honors the culture and the appreciators of marijuana. (Also to those who do not partake, but respect)

This year, Session 4i20 Vl3 brings together a perfect blend of emerging talents and already established artists in our family. We are introducing incredible newcomers like Joshua Arocha, Protect, and Vihai Aurox, along with our beloved friends Dev-Fcp, João Felipe, Lipp, Offset (ECU), Maxim Thierry, and Ragût, who complete this release.

Year on year Oslo based party starting outfit Det Gode Selskab provide us with a jam packed sampler featuring artists from their collective, family and affiliates of the label, but also welcome a flurry of new artists on board each time. Split into 4 parts spread across the next few months the sampler kicks off with a heavyweight package curated by Jack himself.

Heading up part one is Lazy Pete, label regular Henriku, Rex Ronny, Alm, a return for Philip Hinz, alongside Herman Crantz, and last but not least, Koloniari. The beautiful, deep, house-energy in Lazy Pete's opening track "She's A Replicant (Underground Mix)" sets the stage, before you are hit with the huge drums and peak time action of Henriku's "To The Mountains". Conga time with pulsating bass action. Dreamy synths lead the way in the aptly named "Cheese Police" from Rex Ronny. Hitting the nail on the head is also "Acid House Party '' by Alm, squelchy acid tones breathing life into the housey drum patterns. Let's Jack. Teasing further rave action is Philip Hanz & Herman Crantz with "Stay", a driven outing looking to lift the energy of the floor. Direct house music nostalgia in "Believe In Love", the offering from Koloniari, beautiful keys conversing with the slick motion of the track, classy vocal samples flashing in and out.

This is just the beginning of this enormous sampler, so let's hit the floor and get down to some of Jack's favourites!

First track "RUDEBOX", is a progressive delight with a denser and rhythmic ambience, creating a hypnotic atmosphere on the dancefloor. Next is "WATER SCAPE" rolled into nostalgic long pads, highlighting a profound atmosphere and melody in perfect balance. Closing the EP, "THE HOLLOW", a track full of melodic poise and a driving beat, the aural atmosphere at the breakdown creates a dancefloor delightful track. SCI+TEC further strengthen their European connection by welcoming a new Romanian - Spanish pairing in the form of A++ & Rosper. 

Now based in Amsterdam, Sugar Factory resident A++ has already seen his music supported by many of the scenes leading lights and signed to labels including KMS and Intacto. Valencia’s Rosper, a regular behind the decks of the city’s famous Barraca club, stormed the download charts with his very first release, on Stickrecordings. 

Together the pair bring us the 'Bombshell' Ep, a three track offering that showcases their dark, minimal movements to perfection. Leading the release is the bubbling title track with its roof-raising rises and thumping kick drum. 

A++ flies solo on 'V1olence' and delivers a menacing number that's powered by a throbbing cardiac beat and growling bassline. 

Back together on the final cut and the duo turn gangster with ‘M.obscene’. A housier vibe than the previous pair, A++ & Rosper finish on a high with shuffling snares and a feel-good flourish.
