“Nightstand” is an upbeat alt-rock love song with shoegaze/grunge elements. It’s about being so infatuated with someone that you’re willing to do anything to make it work. The song combines the overdriven summer sound of The Jesus and Mary Chain with the relatable storytelling and indie style of The Strokes.

This song is about confronting your demons, and starting a new life with your lover. It uses themes of fleeing the Eastern Bloc as an allegory for leaving your old life behind, and features distorted shoegaze guitars, surf punk drums, and a tension filled air raid siren. A triumphant love song about overcoming adversity with the one you love.

On The Run

Have you ever imagined what The xx’s vocal delivery would sound like layered on top of Tame Impala’s trippy guitar? “Candied Peaches” is a bubblegrunge lovesick song with psychedelic rock elements. It’s about a lost love, heartbreak, and the whirlwind of emotions that follow.

"Hide & Seek" showcases the textured, melodic rock and shoegaze incorporations of dethcaps. With a sound reminiscent of Wolf Alice and Cocteau Twins, the Bay Area band showcase distorted guitars and catchy melodies.

“I’ve Got A Friend” is an alt-pop song reminiscent of the jangly guitars and morose lyrics of The Smiths, with the pounding drums of Wolf Alice. The song was created as a therapy session between the band and our inner critic, starting with the 5 senses grounding exercise and detailing our struggles with feeling not quite enough.
