Tenerfuse - She Buried The Atoms (Norris Division Remix)

Moroccan dance music pioneer, Unes joins us with a classy single - Chechen - to see out the year. Remix support comes from Ras Algethi and Norris Division. The 20-year veteran and member of the highly influential Moroko Loko Crew made his name as resident at the Platinum club. A gifted DJ with a wide sonic palette, his deck skills soon saw him playing for international events across Europe and North Africa. Dipping his toes only recently in the producer pond, his debut release was a collaboration with seasoned artist, Namito on Ubersee Music. Nearly 12 months to the day later and Unes has honed his craft with his debut release for ICONYC Noir. Marrying the rhythmic sensibilities of House with the melodics of Prog, 'Chechen' soars, helped in no small part by the siren-like vocals featured within. On remix duties, Ras Algethi teases the vocal while thinning out the arrangement for a more stripped back feel. Norris Division, on the other hand, opts for a more tracky approach using the vocal elements as extra instrumentation.

Now in his 40s, David's tastes for quality and precision have allowed him to stay relevant behind the decks for over 3 decades!  He's shared the stage with all his early idols of the 90's such as Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Danny Howells, Sharam, as well as countless movers and shakers in the progressive house, deep house, melodic techno arena. At age 19, David relocated to Arizona from his home town of the Detroit suburbs where by the age of 13, David spent countless hours tinkering in his father's home recording studio. By 21, he helped run Markus Schulz's own label, Plastik Records, as well as perfected his vinyl mixing skills to be world class. His naturally inquisitive mind led to a never-ending journey into the most comprehensive and complete discography of deep progressive house from its inception to now. This knowledge lends to help create memorable DJ sets which tend to dazzle with current and unreleased head spinners as much as they do with nostalgic rhythms and melodies from stand out tracks from yesteryear. Currently, Norris Divison is David's main focus.
