As a founding father of techno - Techno Soul was created by Eddie Fowlkes with a mesh of Detroit Techno, Chicago House, Parliament, 70s Funk, and Motown. Eddie Fowlkes released his first Techno Soul album on Tresor in 1993. Eddie’s dexterous skills and flashing creativity made him stand out in Detroit and worldwide. This style pushed boundaries within and between genres. Eddie’s DJ sets reflect his production style where he moves from techno to house, all in one track.
