Fresh R&B and a voice full of energy: with his new single ‘Heads Up Stand Tall’ the British artist Challan Carmichael from Nottingham transports exactly the right mood.

‘Heads Up Stand Tall’ is a song with a lot of lyrical depth, which, in addition to many positive vibes, also conveys hope and shows a way in connection with God. The musical focus is clearly on the voice: powerful, yet defined and soulful. The song blossoms especially in the chorus when it merges into the two-part passage. The vocals are framed by solid R&B beats and accompanying synths, which together form the foundation of the arrangement. All in all, Challan Carmichael’s new single is an incredibly well done indie track, with a high recognition value, which should not be missing from any R&B / Pop playlist.
