HEAD$TASH BIO: If you don’t know about Head$tash, you best get to know :) This Bay Area native produces a sub shaking blend of deep dub and experimental bass music with a primary focus on textured sound design and tasteful, wub-filled rhythms. Many say they feel like Head$tash’s music brings them on a journey and at times feels very out of this world with lots of alien sound design and “wubby” synths. Drawing influence from both hip-hop and reggae culture, his music celebrates everything bass heavy! Head$tash has played numerous shows throughout the United States opening for artist such as Zeke Beats, Hex Cougar, Player Dave, Shlump, Prophet, MeSo, Tripzy Leary, Diceman, Rafeeki, Mystic Grizzly, Josh Teed, Mythic Rogue, Maddy Oneal, Veil, Notlo, Secret Recipe, Soohan, Ion, Big City and many more! Some of his main influences when it comes to producing come from artists such as Salty, Dalek One, The Widdler, Truth, Pushloop, Grundy, Waylo, Roadsbeaf, Nnamba, Wuukz & Mystic Grizzly! 


VIRE BIO: Hailing from the city of Chicago, vire brings forth an expression of deep frequencies and hollow atmospheres. Driven by an appreciation for the beauty within his surroundings, he seeks to articulate the landscapes of his mind through his productions. With heavy subs and crisp drums, the evolution of his sound has taken its own shape in the last couple of years. Sharing the stage with notable artists such as Sicaria Sound, Enigma Dubz, Coki, Pushloop, Khan & Neek, Shlump, and many others, vire is dedicated to showcasing his sound and delivering captivating performances on sound systems.

This weeks Mountain Standard Guest Mix is a special live recording from Patrick Skyler. This past November, he had the opening set for the Denver stop of the 'Death Mechanics' tour featuring Abelation and ShanghaiDoom. 
For this set, Patrick artfully warmed up Cervantes with his brand of Psychedelic Gangsta Glitch-Hop. It features original tunes, remixes, and even a few sit-ins from Denver's favorite MCs.

2023 was a breakout year for Patrick Skyler. He had two huge releases : Nonchalant Ambiance and The Manifesto Prophecy. Came in runner up in the Tree Gaud Remix Contest on Doyu Digital. Played over 10 shows and booked for multiple festivals : Homie Collective Campout, Something Different, and Family Reunion. Big things are definitely on the horizon for this Denver native.
