Light Language is a song that I sang spontaneously with my two year old daughter Maia when we tuned into a workshop with Tareth in Glastonbury. We also heard Tareth's new Tenth cycle awakening sounds manifest in the air around us as we sang to them. This is a recording of what we heard and sang. The first line in each phrase is mine, the second is my daughter's.

   I call my music for World Ethno Spiritual. It is music that flows out of my heart and the text comes out of the pen as automatic writing, it feels like. There are texts from my life and personal experiences. There is a spiritual dimension in the texts that are central, but not religious.

Flower of Hearts is about what we carry within us, like a flower of knowledge, in our hearts, and may come in contact with the exalted state ... for meditation, for example, then we can get glimpses of a "higher" reality.
When inspiration flowing to, only to rush to grab a pen. The text will usually first and then the music. On one occasion everything in a trance, all at once. I've been writing music and lyrics since 1980.

Jag kallar min musik för World Ethno Spiritual. Det är musik som strömmar ut från mitt hjärta och texterna rinner ur pennan som automatskrift, känns det som. Det är texter ur mitt liv och det självupplevda .Det finns en andlig dimension i texterna som är central, men inte religiös.

Flower of Hearts handlar om det vi bär inom oss, som en blomma av kunskap, i våra hjärtan och kan komma i kontakt med vid upphöjda tillstånd...vid meditation till exempel, då vi kan få glimtar av en "större" verklighet.
När inspirationen strömmar till, är det bara till att skynda sig att greppa en penna. Texten kommer oftast först och musiken sedan. Vid ett tillfälle kom allt som i en trans, på en gång. Jag har skrivit musik och texter sedan 1980. 

Grundpulsen i denna låt dansade jag fram ur min egen hjärtats puls i studion. Jag ville skapa en änglalik rymd och klar klang och kontrastera den med basgången, som är som världens brus och buller, lite stökig.
Som ett upphöjt perspektiv i en bullrig nutid. Jag sjunger alla stämmor själv och kompar oftast på piano, fast inte just vid denna inspelning som gjordes i E-Cap Studios, Göteborg, redan år 2000.

Jag har mina rötter i Finland, Lappland, strax söder om Polcirkeln. Den orörda naturen och Moder Jord Gaia, står mig nära. Nu lever vi i uppvaknandets tid, mitt i en spännande fas i den mänskliga evolutionen. Kanske vaknar vi till vår fulla potential och löser världsproblemen i ett nafs......det är min förhoppning i alla fall. Alla gör vi våra val i varje nu som leder till nästa nu.....och formar våra liv. Den som lever får se Tack för din uppmärksamhet. Hoppas min musik berör ditt hjärta. Deva Ananda
