Hey, I’m Devanshi Macwan, and music is my language. I started with electronic music because it’s where I feel most connected. From deep techno to progressive house, this form allows me to truly express myself. What inspires me most is the unity found at a rave or festival—where emotions, struggles, and victories are shared without words. Music has this incredible power to connect, and that’s what I’m chasing: a way to express what’s felt, not just said, through sound.

I’m still early in my musical journey, but my mission is clear: to bring back a sense of humanity. I want to create a space where every emotion—joy, sorrow, or anything in between—can be felt, shared, and celebrated. Music is the tool for that connection, helping people express what they sometimes can’t.

My influences are vast. Indira Paganotto (undoubtedly my Mama), Omiki, Kaufmann, Frankey & Sandrino, Four Tet, Extrawelt, Fred Again, Dreamhour, Acid Cats, TheyDream, Deniz Bul, Ben Klock, Fideles, Joyhauser, Ann Clue, BYØRN, Tiësto, MRAK, Joris Voorn, Adam Sellouk, Hilight Tribe, Klangkuenstler, Ki/Ki, SPFDJ, and more—these artists shape my sound and fuel my creative fire. I’m especially inspired by the women in electronic music, rising above and pushing boundaries. Their passion drives me to keep going harder every day.

Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible artists like Adam Sellouk, Teenage Mutants, Toto Chiavetta, Magdalena, Anyasa, Avantika Bakshi and many more. Each encounter has been a learning experience, teaching me more about the art and power of music. These moments continue to influence how I feel and create.

The electronic music scene in India has also played a huge role in shaping my journey. I’ve had unforgettable moments at Sunburn Festival (Goa, 2022), Echoes of Earth Festival (Goa, 2023), and Magnetic Fields (Rajasthan, 2024). Festivals like Boiler Room (Bangalore, 2024), DGTL Bangalore (2024), and Hör Berlin (Bangalore, 2024) have exposed me to some of the most exciting sounds and artists. The energy at these events—where people come together to lose themselves in the music—is pure magic. I’ve also been inspired by legendary performances from Indira Paganotto, Charlotte de Witte, and Joris Voorn (Bangalore, 2024), which have deepened my passion.

For me, translating emotion through rhythm, melody, and hooks goes beyond just spinning tracks. It’s about creating a journey—one where people can let go, feel deeply, and connect with something greater. Music is my tool to make people feel heard, seen, and understood.

As I continue to grow, I’m excited for what’s ahead. There’s so much to explore and experiment with—it’s only the beginning. ❤️🙏🏼
