The Human Song

It's been  a little while since I've done a cover so here it is. I pretty much put this together in a matter of weeks. This time round I used a different VST for the programmed drums, using the MT PowerDrumKit2 plugin, which in comparison to what I was using before (The Rock Drum Kit  Sample off of Cubase's HAlion 1 plugin)sound much better and realistic, so from now on I'll be using that plugin for drums sounds.

This track was originally composed by Masafumi Ogata for the game "Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Master System/Game Gear Version)"  and later remixed for Sonic CD to be the main theme of the game: "Sonic - You Can Do Anything", performed by Keiko Utoku and Casey Rankin (who wrote the lyrics).

This theme have been remixed many other times, and today is one of the most iconic Sonic themes of all time.

This time, we're going all the way back to 1991 for the first "Final Zone" if you will. A dark, ominous atmosphere surrounds our blue spiky hero as he approaches the final confrontation with Dr. Robotnik to free his animal friends from the robotic captivity. 

I hope you all enjoy my take on Scrap Brain Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog 1.
