A video game inspired song that was mostly made in FL Studio in 2022. This was the first song that I ever recorded the bass part for with an actual instrument, so it was a great experience for me.

Let me know if there are any mixing issues. That's something I'm still working on.

Thursday Takeout Takedown

Recorded on the year 2023.

Another song where I play the bass part. I ended up having some difficulties with this one, but I'm pretty proud of how it came out.
You may hear some mistakes, but this was my best recording of all the takes I did.

Note: I discovered that on some sound systems certain low notes resonate a little too loudly. Let me know if it affects you and what kind of speakers/system you're using.

Lightly Topped with Growth (and Groove)

Note: This one's a little experimental. 
Made July, 2023. Bass parts were played by me.

This song started with some inspiration from Boogie Woogie, but it kinda gained a life of it's own as I continued working on it.

There's a mix of Rock, and VG style throughout the track (and a smidgen of blues, I suppose). Overall I think it turned out pretty well and I enjoyed making it quite a lot!

Edit: Might have to be more careful with kicks in the future. Sounds pretty good through my speakers and headphones, but not so well with some car speakers.

Chocolate Chip Boogie Rock

This is the last song song I made in 2023. It's split into two major parts, one being fairly standard while in the second I just wanted to have a lot of fun.

I actually had a really hard time with a few areas here, including the final sections, so I'm not sure about how it came out. Notably I had some issues with mixing. Didn't do my due diligence when reviewing the song in addition to this being the first time I used a bass pedal. I'll have to keep that in mind for the next song I post.
(Slightly unrelated: Also wasn't entirely sure how to categorize this song, lol.)


For this song I had two goals: (1) Use the fifth string of my bass guitar more and (2) try making a song without cymbal crashes.

Posts following this song will probably be a little less experimental, since the everything up til now has largely been me attempting to learn more about composition as well as get more practice playing my bass.

Stoic Follicles

[Also known in some parts as "Cavatappi from Space!"]

Does this sound like a space level? I hope it does. =D

I'm pretty proud of how this one came out: a lil quirky with (what I hope is) is a pretty solid groove. I tried some different settings on my bass pedal this time around just to play with the sound.
The new settings meant I had to be more careful in recording, though, and I became very aware of a bunch of technique stuff I can clean up.

Additionally: recording this song was kinda stressful. I wanted the bass parts just right and that just ended up making recording more difficult. lol

Anyway, I hope you like it! I had a lot of fun making this and my elementary school song art too!

Eclectic Galactic Scoobi Doo

I'm an aspiring developer that animates and makes music. Here you'll mostly find songs that I've played my bass guitar for and maybe some songs made with only VSTs. (Some songs may be used on my YouTube channel too!)
