Devey2G is an independent artist originally from Watts, an inner-city neighborhood in Los Angeles, CA. Shortly After Dev moved to Compton, CA where he “fell in love with Hip Hop.” Growing up in an era where Hip-Hop was a culture that embraced freestyle, Dev’s charismatic energy blended well and he found his voice as a rapper and writer. His influences include performers such as E40 and Lil Wayne And More, but the depth of his inspiration comes from Old School R&B and Gospel. 

While Dev made his debut performance at a church talent show, he did not record his first song until he was in high school. After High School, his hobby of rapping soon became his full-time passion. His music career has led him to work with prominent rap artists such as Nipsey Hussle, Kurrupt, Fetty Wap, JayRock, YG,  and many more. 

Motivated by his Situation, Devey2G aims to share his journey through his music. His humble character and dedicated spirit are made evident in his captivating lyricism, and his rhymes are delivered to rouse fans and inspire followers to write their own future.
