I wanted to write some emotive 2010 style chill step and get back to an expressiveness in the genre that I think is sometimes lost. I'm also a little tired of writing to formulaic structures, so I experimented with some time changes a key change and a slightly more explorative approach to arrangement than I would typically take. I think the end result sounds very pretty. Hopefully somebody out there agrees.

House track with a focus on powerful melancholy chords paired with a wildly untamed bass.  This track pushes through the hopelessness of everyday life with hard hitting grooves propelled further by fast-paced transitions.  If you can't tell by my lack of a release schedule, I have been working with this one for far too long.  I'm hoping it doesn't just sound like an overproduced mess at this point, but I'm glad to finally let it go either way.  Hope it brings a little hope to someone out there.
