Nez Early 00's Techno Vinyl Mix

Along with his passion for electronic music Gerryboo, Geebo, Gerry Macca, The Mac Attack has not been a stranger to controversy;  from allegedly setting fire to sound systems at festivals, fighting with a BBM magazine journalist and consistently playing Born Slippy at plus 8.  In an interview with now defunct lads magazine FHM in 2007 the Belfast based DJ admitted that his trajectory from the The Bedroom DJ’s DJ’ to the king of ‘Clubs in Pubs’ scene has been “less than ideal” and went on to tell the interviewer “I’m the dj Belfast deserved but not the one it needed”.  This interview subsequently lead to a dogpile on the now defunct social media platform Bebo which forced the now hyphonated ‘G-bo’ into relative obscurity.  Since then he has partnered and broke bread with local clubbing institutions like Shine, Twitch, Acroplane Recordings, DSNT et al and went to meet, greet, wine, dine and warm up for the likes of Radioactive Man, Skudge, Sunil Sharpe, Ceephax Acid Crew, Inigo Kennedy, Untold, Boddika et al.

Nez Heat Signal

Me and Ben thought it would be fun to play a long DJ set together at Globus, the upstairs floor at Tresor in Berlin. 
We last played together (as Frequency 7) in May 2013. This time we played a ‘back to back’ DJ set, I’m pretty sure playing 2 tracks each for the whole six and a half hour set. All we had in mind beforehand was to start with some Dub and ‘see where it goes’. 

It was a lot of fun so we wanted to share the recording with you.
