Cycles is the premiere demonstration of the album involving a huge assortment of instruments. A Sax, Trombone and Trumpet share the lead part throughout the track. The Brass is backed up by a huge String Section consisting of a Violin, Viola, Cello, and the beautiful, weeping Contrabass that trades places, and eventually duals a little with the Fretless Bass. The Steinway Grand starts the album's emotion here, making up a key part of the signature sound for the band. The drum kit is nearly all Ludwig using the hugest, monster 28" Kick to help keep the pace with such a Big Band!

Cycles

A warm Les Paul leads a huge string section from Violin to Contrabass. Backed by our Steinway Grand, a really cool Yamaha/Ludwig drum kit, and a little bit of drum machine.

Grip

A trio of Golden Trumpets lead the way for a Strat Guitar used in rhythm, and especially during the bridge solo. A beautiful sounding 6 String Bass Guitar keeps the pace with my favorite Steinway B-211 Studio Grand Piano in the background.

The drum kit involves a Jazz Tuned Ayotte 16X18" Kick, a set of Ludwig toms, a really amazing sounding Noble and Cooley Steam-Bent Maple Snare, and a set of Masterwork cymbals involving pieces from Turkey and China that top off the Devils Swill signature sound.

Synthesis

A healthy Tenor Sax leads the way in Collected, with accompaniment from a soft trumpet. A  12-String Guitar keeps the pace with a Stand-Up Bass, and the Steinway Grand makes a short appearance in the bridge. This piece uses a beautiful Ayotte Classic Drum Kit with a really cool Leedy Broadway snare.

The Baritone Sax leads the way, along with a trio of Silver Trumpets, and a Les Paul Guitar. A Fretless Bass compliments the Steinway Grand, while our custom drum kit keeps the pace.
