Devious Delight is the new solo project from Copenhagen based, Danish artist Jesper Bonde. If you like the experimenting universe of T Bone Burnett, you will probably also like Devious Delight. Though he is still young, Jesper Bonde plays songs like he is looking back on a long lived life on the road, where he has travelled the world to write a few songs about his love for the city, life, and people in general.

Jesper Bonde is still playing the jangling guitars; he is famous for in the Danish Indie Pop Band, Northern Portrait. He is often compared to The Smith's guitarist Johnny Marr and has been named: "probably the best guitarist in todays Indie Pop". The bright guitars take the laidback Americana-style music of Devious Delight to another level.

It is easy no hear the influence of great music icons like Pink Floyd and David Bowie, when you listen to Devious Delight. Pink Floyd's catchy melodies and song structures can be found in songs like "Taking the World By the Balls" and "Right and Wrong", and David Bowie's approach to music arrangements and orchestration pops up now and then in places you wouldn't expect in this kind of music; you boldly could call Indie-Americana.
