Our next radio show features an exclusive mix from Brazil’s Jessica Brankka. Jessica joined the Get Physical label earlier this year with her superb ’Every Night’ single, which saw her dive into deep, groove-driven house music and is featured here. She has previously recorded for Crosstown Rebels and is one of South America’s hottest musical exports. Her radio mix sees her mining the recent Get Physical catalogue for melodic and dancefloor-focused gems. It all started in Naples, where Marco Dily grew up digging deep into the emotional layers of house music, long before he hit the charts or club stages. He revisits a timeless classic: “Teardrop” by Massive Attack, written by Robert Del Naja, Andrew Vowles, and Grantley Marshall.
With deep respect for the original’s essence, Marco reinterpretates and transforms it into a hypnotic journey tailored for today’s dance floors. This new version blends nostalgia with innovation— moody pads, haunting melodies, and a groove-driven heartbeat.
DiMO (BG), the Bulgarian groove architect behind stellar cuts on Defected and MoBlack, is on
remix duty.
His remix injects tribal rhythm and global textures, elevating “Teardrop” into a Dance Floor Afro-
House experience.
To complete the package straight from Australia, Bambu Huts in Koh Samui, Thailand, Resident DJ Stevie Keys with a deeper and melodic version set for a perfect sunrise in Paradise!
