How does one make a playlist to start DJing when there’s such an incredible amount of amazing music on tap? 
What an amazing time to be alive. 
As my first playlist has 255 tracks I’ve decided to split it 3 ways; the groovier and more fun side of hard groove and anything with lyrics and hip hop type samples, then the harder and deeper groove and lastly the older techno classics adding some hardcore breakbeat from around 1993 and earlier. 
There’s so much more to find and add but this is what I have saved so far or picked of a favourite set.
Had to Shazam a lot of tracks from my favourite mixes which can take a long time when 2 tracks are mixing in and out, try and confirm it on Apple Music then back to SoundCloud to find the track. Such a joy to hear so many amazing tracks it’s addictive and even better when I come across a new artist and add all my favourites of theirs! 
It’s never ending but so much fun I’d do it for a living if asked!! 

I’m not a DJ or a producer, just a lover of techno, fast beats, hard, melodic, groovy, breakbeats and tuneful with minimal breaks: hard groove / Hardgroove - the ultimate genre and it just keeps getting better and better. 
My first set of decks 33 years after my first rave back in 1993, Desire at Roller Express have just made their way to me. With so much amazing music available and the inspiration from so many superb artists and DJ’s I’m well on my way to having a lot of fun
