Devon "Booka" Dixon is a 27 year old Brown Genius born out of Brooklyn, NY. His love for music started at the age of 4 yeas old attending church. Booka knew at the age of four when he received his first drum set from his mother, that music was something he was destined to do. He attended William E. Grady HS in Brooklyn, NY. At the young age 20 years old he attended The Institute of Audio Research (IAR) in Manhattan. He was an Audio Engineering major and among the top students of his graduating class of 2014. Upon completing school and becoming a certified audio engineer, Booka landed internships at some of the biggest name studios in NYC. It was during those long hours where he learned the intangibles of music and what it takes to make it in the music industry. Booka has mastery skills using any DAW(Pro Tools, Logic, NI Maschine,etc..), playing drums, drums machine (NI Maschine), and keyboard. Booka's industry placements are with well-known main stream artist and highly reputable local artist within the industry. Booka continues to work toward his dreams of becoming an Multi-multi-platinum Music Producer.
