Tony Foster is acclaimed Detroit house DJ/producer and director of Mixmode Recordings.  With 20 years behind him on the world famous Detroit scene, Foster established himself as one of the founders of the city’s music scene.  His debut release on Mixmode “The After Party” was an immediate success with accolades raining in from industry peers and attracted the interest of Devoted who asked Tony to record their first release. Tony’s Detroit roots are clear to hear all over this release.


“The Morning After” is a lush sun drenched deep house with a yearning vocal sample perfectly offseting the soulful chords and textures of the track.

“Twelve Until” ups the tempo and focuses on the dancefloor; a string riff not dissimilar to Rolando’s classic “Kniqhts of the Jaguar” sits on top of skippy yet driving beats and a deep as you like bassline.

“This Thing Of Ours” is a slice of futuristic Detroit house and one of those tracks that is destined to hang round in the boxes of those DJs pursuing the deeper vibe in their sets.

US house virtuoso Josh Collins has over 100 releases for the likes of Hooj Choons, Gourmet, Honchos, Grayhound and Frik N Frak, the Chicago based artist has worked solo and alongside living legends such as Barbara Tucker, Ron Carroll and Byron Stingily, offering a consistent flow of releases that range from tech-house and house to techno. An extensive musical background and years of training in piano and cello have given Josh a strong platform to excel as a producer, remix artist and DJ.

Hungarian DJ and Producer Jaffa Surfa is about to start making some serious waves in the world of deep and tech house music with a sound that would be right at home on a Wiggle dancefloor at Fabric and flying off the shelves at Croydon's Swag Records.

An acomplished DJ from the age of 16, having won Check Magazine's contest and coming runner up in the Red Bull DJ Academy, Jaffa Surfa has gone on to play all over Hungary and Europe alongside names such as Funk D'Void, Phonique, Spirit Catcher and Eddie Richards. 

It was in 2006 that he began producing and to date Jaffa Surfa has released the 'One One' EP featuring a remix from Jay Tripwire. 

On the Solebeat EP for Devoted Jaffa Surfa turns out 3 original tracks taking in tech, deep and more atmospheric sounds.  

Deep House Soldier Matthew Bandy is on remix duties.  With a career long string of the finest deep house release for labels including Reverberations, Drop Music, Nordic Trax and Franchise Player, Bandy gives 'Csoki' his midas touch.

For the fifth release on Devoted, label boss Mike Rez teams up with another north-westerner, Soniclegacy for two tracks.

'Panache' has a fat throbbing bassline, a hypnotic female vocal sample and a heavy dose of energetic percussion.

'Second Sight' has a shuffling, squelchy feel complemented by another big throbbing bassline which builds up into a sublime piano solo in the latter stages - perfect for those warm up or afterhours slots.

Al Bradley: Solid techy vibes here, Panache definitely will be getting an airing at the darker & more sweaty venues I play, great track. I liked the basic vibe on Second Sight, but just fet it dragged on, it really needed to be a bit tighter. A strong release nonetheless.
