Synthetik Sounds Unveils Star-Studded Compilation to Support LA Fire Relief Efforts

Los Angeles techno label Synthetik Sounds is proud to announce the release of a powerful 39-track Various Artists compilation featuring an extraordinary lineup of global techno talent. In a time of urgent need, 100% of proceeds from the compilation will be donated to LA Fire Relief Funds, supporting communities affected by the devastating wildfires that created havoc in the Los Angeles area in January 2025.

In January 2025, the Palisades and Eaton wildfires in Los Angeles County burned over 37,000 acres, destroyed more than 16,000 structures, caused at least 29 fatalities, and led to the evacuation of over 200,000 residents, affecting many in the underground techno and house community in our city.

When we asked artists to contribute to a V/A release to help our community, we found ourselves overwhelmed by the amount of support we received.

This monumental release unites over 40 cutting-edge artists, all contributing their signature sounds to this meaningful cause. From techno veterans to rising stars, the compilation is a showcase of boundary-pushing artistry and the unity of the electronic music community.

Vasco Rompão aka Kapa Preta, originally from Portugal (Lisbon), has been a dynamic presence in the Techno scene since 2008 inspired by tracks from Jeff Mills and Truncate. 

Kapa’s sound combines hypnotic rhythms with a groovy flow.

Kapa’s sets reflect a genuine passion for techno. 
His journey gained momentum in early 2023, bringing his talent to audiences worldwide. With performances at iconic Portuguese venues like Nav Lisbon, 168Stereogun Leiria, Collect Radio,MusicBox Lisbon, and in Amsterdam for Subliminal Amsterdam.
