This track almost became a memory, lost forever on an old hard drive. It was born during the height of the "hip hop is dead" debates—a time when the culture felt divided, with old school clashing against new school. I understood the frustration but saw no solutions being offered, just endless back-and-forth arguments. Back then, I was grinding, trying to help my homies and homegirls break into the industry. Honestly, thank God it didn’t work. Who knows? We might’ve ended up at a white party, covered in baby oil! LOL.

Fast forward to today: I decided to remix this song and take a leap of faith to see if it connects with anyone. Sharing my music is a huge risk, especially after the trauma I’ve been through recently. But the love and support from around the world mean more to me than I can say.
