Clément (aka @slow-postal) is more than a friend for us, our friendship is born on a dancefloor 10 years ago and it was the beginning of a love story between us🕺🏼🫂. His passion for music is without limit, timeless digger, and amazing dancer, his dancemoves are well known in Europe (the famous hand dancing, pursed lips 🫦 which can electrify a whole room!). He is practicing his DJ skills in Berlin since a couple of years now, always delivering (💌📬) the best of his recent finds, his sound is sweaty, sexy and happy with the right amount of cheese on top, like a good raclette, the one you could easily eat even in the middle of the summer, pure gourmandise 🧀

It’s a true pleasure to welcome him on board, bon appétit 🍽️

Following in the footsteps of COEO, Maltitz and Mangabey, this new album continues to give the floor to artists from all over the world (Ireland, Korea, Mexico, Germany...) to share their vision of the very special genre of Italo disco. After exploring talents in Europe, Mister T. records is returning with a blend of balearic and progressive house EP by Mahkina, formerly know as Alex Aguayo, from Mexico.

Mister T. records is extremely proud to unveil Alex Aguayo’s first release with his new alias Mahkina. Active for more than 7 years on the indie and electronic scene as Alex Aguayo, the Mexican DJ and producer is now introducing his new house / progressive project. “Sale Por El Corazon” stands as a clear definition of Mahkina : a tribute to the digital retro sounds and a hot touch of tropical/salsa style rhythms.

The four track EP opens with “Attraction Gravitionelle”, a clear dancefloor oriented track, evolving around a mesmerizing acid bass line and french vocals. The emotional breaks and drops add a layer of tension to the hottest tune of the EP.
“Good Old Moments” acts as a bridge between the change in Alex Aguayo style that could be seen in his latest release on Fauve Records and the actual Mahkina project. The balearic nostalgia is inherent to the sounds which remains a very sweet tool for dancefloors thanks to its fast rhythm and the warmth of the dub techno influenced stabs.
“Sale Por El Corazon” was produced a bit later after the other tunes by Mahkina yet it’s really what is giving the relevancy of the whole EP and then its name. Alex managed to capture the brute energy of the inspiration flow, waking up one day at 6am hearing the bass line in his mind and rushed to his PC to record the whole tune. On this track, Alex touched the raw essence of the first Detroit productions with the same influences coming from latin pianos and percussions.
“No Politics” concludes the EP with a beautiful and vibrant balearic house ballad giving space to aerial piano lines.

Following the development of the project to a solo venture of co-founder James Priestley, Secretsundaze marks another key milestone in 2024 with the release of the first original material by the artist under the Secretsundaze moniker in over 4 years.

Coming out on Berlin institution WARNING, the  WAR1210 EP exhibits the sonic development of Secretsundaze as a producer and DJ. Progressive in outlook, organic in nature, the two tracks (accompanied by remixes from Drua &  Giraffi Dog) help copper fasten the overall landscape for Secretsundaze’s artist vision.

The EP opens with ‘Doesn’t This Sun Feel Great..’, a rising, percussive track that utilises disparate samples and twisted vocal manipulation for a fast paced, dancefloor orientated roller. Progressive in outlook, organic in nature, the track steadily builds throughout, culminating in a deserving, euphoric release. ‘The Real Sun’ takes the sensibilities of the opening track and leans on its raw, rolling percussive energy, keeping things highly functional and grooving.

The B side commences with Drua’s version of ‘Doesn’t This Sun Feel Great’. Drawing for a sonic palette quickly becoming synonymous with him, the remix twists and turns in a mesh of psychedelic progressive and hard hitting tech house. To wrap up proceedings Giraffi Dog delivers his captivating ‘700 Lakeside remix’ of ‘The Real Sun’, pushing boundaries with an inventive score that transforms the original track's energy.

EN : Dew Arte is a DJ and producer from Lyon who juggles his inspirations to deliver his vision of electronic music. With DJ sets ranging from funk, disco, house, italo-disco, to progressive house, electro and dark-disco, he likes to navigate between genres to surprise his audience and transport them into his universe. 

With an affinity for the 80s atmosphere and spirit, he created his own record label in 2022, "Dew Arte Motori", to deliver music inspired by this aesthetic. Cheesy synths, radical percussion and melancholy assumed, he strives to recreate and share this vibe that he loves so much. 

Passionate about piano from an early age, he began mixing during his studies in sound design and has not stopped since. Additionally, he has been performing live and DJ sets with his duo FRR FONK for a few years.

FR : Dew Arte est un Dj et producteur lyonnais qui jongle avec ses inspirations pour délivrer sa vision de la musique électronique. Avec des DJ sets allant de la funk, disco, house, italo-disco, jusqu’à la progressive house, à l’electro et à la dark disco, il aime naviguer entre les genres pour surprendre son public et le transporter dans son univers. 

Affectionnant particulièrement l’ambiance et l’esprit des années 80, il créé son label en 2022 « Dew Arte Motori » avec pour but de délivrer une musique principalement inspirée de cette esthétique et de cette énergie.
