DeWayne & TeWayne were born ,Damian Griffin & Damon Griffin, prematurely on June 12, 1991 in Memphis, Tn. They are 2 out of 9 children born 2nd & 3rd. Music runs deep in their blood because of the many local DJ's & singers that runs through the family. Faced though many hardships through life they have always kept a positive & respectful attitude. They went to G.W. Carver High School & B.T.W. High schools, before dropping out. Raised in South Memphis they really didn't see anything positive other than the music. Performing in various school & local talent shows they made a little name for their self, especially when they released & performed their single "Pop A Rubberband" at a talent show during their tenure at G.W. Carver High School, where they crowd went wild, they knew they were destined for greatness. Now with the release of their freshman mixtape, Double Trouble, they seek out to have an even bigger name. They may be twins but their musical style varies. TeWayne being the more street/gangsta rapper & DeWayne being the more conscious/lyrical rapper, their style blends with each other in a way people can't imagine. I know it sounds odd by reading it but once you hear it, you will pleased with what you are hearing.
