REPRESS ALERT: Carl Finlow is one of the great unsung heroes of British electronic music, with a raft of aliases and projects that burst with inventive production, warmth and a sense of fun that so much slickly produced techno and electro misses. For Those That Knoe are doing the right thing in gathering together some choice cuts from over the years - the Voice Stealer jams in particular stand out with their miscreant tones and overall uneasy atmosphere tapping into the malaise of the darker Drexciya-related output. There are all shades of electro to be enjoyed on here though, and hopefully it'll place Finlow on the radar for a few more heads.

noc:turne’s output has never gone unnoticed at Delayed. Whether mixes or releases, the Belgian producer’s work has always been admired by our team.
The Delayed team is ecstatic to have him back, this time to premiere this beautiful, atmospheric interpretation of Giveon’s “Heartbreak Anniversary.” “Praise” serves as the release’s opener, starting out in an extremely melancholic manner, giving us a taste of what to expect and setting the tone for the remainder of the EP. Prepare to get lost in Noc:turne’s 8-minute odyssey revolving around Giveon’s desolate vocals.
With equal parts downtempo, house, ambient, and trance, noc:turne’s “Humanity” EP showcases the producer’s sophistication, evolution, and ability. After hearing several of his tracks featured in his mixes over the past few months, it’s about time these tracks see the light of day. The EP will be out on May 1, 2022 via noc:turne’s Right Hand Corner Imprint.

Leipzig-based KANN Records may celebrate a lot of jubilees this year. Celebrating a decade of music with a label showcase tour and a magnificent 15 track “Family Horror X” compilation, KANN’s kaleidoscopic musical journey through 2018  culminates with another gorgeous mini compilation. 
Deliciously titled “Banana Split”, it’s an impressive sonic display of well-crafted gems featuring exclusive originals by the label co-founder map.ache and other immensity talented artists such as Falke, DJ Assam and His Master’s Voice.
Faithful to KANN’s aesthetic credo of dance-floor techno hypnotism and striking intelligence, the German artist Jaines Bomt, also known as His Master’s Voice, makes an outstanding contribution to the compilation with a colorful “Oma”. From start to finish, it captures the listener and takes them on the imaginative journey through lush, multifaceted sonic landscapes filled with blissful melancholy and nostalgic chill wave. Reminiscent to Boards Of Canada and Tycho, the whole composition is driven along by a dreamy, spacey harmonies and dynamic layers of fuzzy guitars that meld together organically with a great sense of groove. “Oma” is a beautiful continuation of quality and an elegant extension to KANN’s sophisticated sound palette.

Ten Brains! Much can be achieved with One Brain, so it begs the question: how much goodness can be conceived with Ten?! There is a very clear and definitive answer, badly concealed in the aural fine print of the debut Ten Brains release, which finds a cosy home on Houses in Motion.
Crisp and emotionally pervasive, the record is punctuated by playful basslines, melodic quips and bouncing broken beats; as fitting in the rainforest as in a jungle of heaving bodies in a dark room.
Taking the reins for the flipside’s reinterpretations are trusty pilots RP and Andy Garvey, who both add a large helping of heat and euphoria to the mix.
