In general I like this a lot. But I feel like the arrangement is slightly too thin. I'm not getting enough resonant tones, and there's not much going on outside the melody, background and percussion. Could you try playing around with some callout lines, or counter melodies or harmonies? I think it would add a lot

Here's a thing I came up with today for a prog band I play drums in. Drum programming isn't representative of how I intend to play. Merry Xmas I guess.

Early Prog Idea

I like to experiment on phrases that fit two types of beats. Here's an example. The song that sparked that experiment is "Old Day Born Anew" by Textures. I love that band. Nothing to do with what I posted tho. Hopefully my bandmates will like that, and you too. I'm not responsible for the dissonnant guitar harmonies.
