i havent done very much this year so far. sorry about that. a bunch of weird mental AND physical health stuff has been going on with me, so making stuff has been difficult. so to show im not dead, and since i dont have anything to show with the last straw right now, i figured id post something from a while ago that never saw the light of day.


this is an arrangement of lost chocolate i made for a sugary spire mod that started development before EN's release. after EN's release though, the mod took a direction i wasnt a fan of, and so i left and told them not to use what i made. im pretty sure that mod got canned... just in case, i wont say what mod it is.

this song was envisioned to be for a sort of time attack type rush mode... i dont remember exactly how it worked. it was sort of inspired by scoutdigo's death mode, i think? i was going to make "rush" arrangements of all the level themes for it. this one, the one for molasses swamp, was the only one that ended up happening before the mod direction changed and i left. according to the file date it was made on october 9th 2024.

honestly, i still like this. obviously it doesnt hold up to the EN version of lost chocolate, but i think its neat for what it was at the time. i really like the altered bass rhythms and the piano is really frantic.

i'll make more new stuff soon. TLS devlog will happen at some point, and there's a song ive been meaning to post for a good while that i just really havent wanted to make the visualizer for... thatll come eventually, too. if all goes well theres also another project for near the end of the year...? if my mind can cooperate with me haha. we'll see.
