Mordio returns with ‘Selva of The Zone’, a captivating Techno Tool EP that
showcases his mastery of groove and sound design. This release pulses bet-
ween driving, groovy techno, minimalistic dark textures, and abstract percus-
sions.
“Locked in a Box”, the first track, hits the ground running—a bold opening
with a propelling groove, balancing deep techno roots with an energy that
pushes boundaries. “Fuiste” follows—a track defined by its functional flow,
mysterious atmosphere, and intricate rhythmic patterns that challenge and
captivate. On “Small Anomaly”, mordio crafts a sleek, body-focused compo-
sition. Playful fills punctuate its elegant, functional core—a refined example
of body music in motion. “Gravity Pattern” introduces a snappy confidence,
bold and irresistible, radiating cheeky energy that pulls the listener in.
Finally, the title piece, “Selva of The Zone”, bring a playful synth and a raw,

MORDIO is a Berlin-based artist and producer whose work explores the boundaries
between experimental techno and intricate sound design. With over 15 years dedi-
cated to crafting electronic music, his signature style combines detailed textures
with hypnotic rhythms.
Beyond the studio, MORDIO is deeply engaged in sharing knowledge with the glo-
bal electronic music community. His YouTube channel serves as a platform where
he breaks down complex sound design techniques, offering insights into his creati-
ve process and helping fellow artists develop their craft.
As both producer and educator, MORDIO bridges the gap between artistic expres-
sion and technical expertise, collaborating with artists across genres while fostering
a supportive community of electronic music creators.

DeXimE (aka Dexlectic) is a former radio DJ, IT professional & electronic music producer from the Netherlands.

Under "Dexlectic" he will mainly release Lo-Fi & Chillhop tracks, while DeXimE will be used producing other types of music.

About 1993 - 1995: I had my own home studio back in 1993, before the era of computers and the internet. It consisted of a Roland MC-50, Roland D5 Synth, Roland Sound Canvas, an Akai S2800 Sampler, and an analog Samick SM-1200 mixing table. Unfortunately, I had to sell it all due to unforeseen circumstances. Fun fact: I sold my Akai S2800 to Armin van Buuren.
