To celebrate Outkast headlining Ireland's Electric Picnic Festival in 2014, we thought we'd add our own flavour to one of their biggest hits. It lift the virtual roof off our Body & Soul main stage gig and has been a very popular addition to the set list since!

The title reflects the way I recorded it and the reason behind it. I spent 2 days in the studio playing as if was busking or playing a gig and all the tracks have been recorded “one take”. 
No digital gimmicks, click tracks or copy paste magic during post-production (only few backing vocals and additional percussions were added to some songs). I wanted to capture the dynamics of a real live performance, to make sure the energy I put into it will get to you straight away. Hopefully you will play it on a sunday morning and feel like i'm busking in your living room, or playing in the backseat of your car while you're off to work on a busy monday.

On April 14th the band will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.  The year also sees the results of the first ever complete upgrade of the band’s catalogue.

With the full co-operation of both surviving members, Kenney Jones and Ian McLagan, the last five years have seen a massive programme of tape recovery and upgrading.  Masters have been pulled in from all over the world, including Immediate label multi-tracks from the Kenney Jones and Charly Records archives.  Using these, it is now possible to represent all of the Small Faces’ original albums sounding better than at any time since the sixties and to add a whole host of newly discovered tracks and alternative versions. The new editions will also feature original artwork and contemporary photos and publicity material alongside comprehensive new notes by band experts.

On 7th May we will be releasing a 2CD digibook edition of the Small Faces’ first album on Immediate Records from 1967, The Small Faces. 

This includes the original mono and stereo albums plus 17 bonus tracks including the key singles Here Come The Nice, Itchycoo Park, Tin Soldier and unreleased alternative versions. The package also includes a 24-page booklet including notes by Mojo journalist Mark Paytress.
