DEX'N'EFFEX are a DJ and production team hailing from the midlands, England. The group consist Steve O'D, Tony Jay and Dom Frisco. All of whom are individual performers in their own rights, however through a mutual love of music, their ideas on how music should be performed and also with over 30years of musical influences. They formed a new concept that collectively they call Dex'n'effex. 

DJ'ing

Steve O'D and Tony Jay are a midlands based duo that are currently causing a stir on the UK house party scene. 
The duo are both individual dj’s and have been major players on the midlands party scene for over 10 years. Between them holding residencies at events such as Kidology & Miami Nice, If...you want it, Miss Moneypennies, Plastic, Hoochy Koochy, Fantazia, Cocoon, Helter Skelter and most recently both being signed to the ever increasingly popular Dirty Little Funkers label.

Their paths had crossed on numerous occasions, however fate ensured that over time this pairing would develop a friendship that would grow not just for the love of the same music but for a passion of putting that little bit more into their dj sets. With this view of always trying to do something a bit different Dex’n’effex was born. This is a concept that covers everything from a back 2 back set to the guy’s mixing simultaneously on four decks and using sound effects boards to whip any crowd into frenzy.

Where ever these guy’s play expect to hear blistering tech house, peak time club tracks, driving techno, fresh funky house, deep and dirty electronica and everything else in between.

Production and Performance

Steve O'D, Tony Jay and Dom Frisco have shared a passion for music all their lives. The feelings they shared as clubbers when hearing new music and seeing the crowds reaction to the way dj's and producers performed meant that innevitably they new that music would be where their futures would head. Taking influences from House, Garage, Drum and bass, Techno, hardcore and everything else in between they have been exposed to every sound you can think of. All of these elements are explored in their muusic. Not settling for just conforming to the current sound they all explore new possibilities and try new things. Coming up with new sounds and styles along the way.    

Look and listen out for these guy's on the world circuit as in their first year together they have already got confirmed DJ residencies in London, Leicester, Gibraltar and Ibiza so far. Production wise they have already had their tracks played on radio in the UK, Russia and America and produced music for both TV and Radio. Also they have done remix work for Reza and Dirty Secretz with more remix work coming in all the time...........
