Studying Mathematics and Engineering in Universities, Hong Kong-based electronic musician Epsilon-Delta uses synth to represent Mathematics musically, forming a unique soundscape of “MathSynth” music.

اپسیلون_دلتا هنرمند-مهندس اهل کشور هنگ‌کنگ است که از سینت‌سایزرها و بازنمایی‌های مفاهیم مربوط به رشته ریاضی برای تولید موسیقی استفاده می‌نماید، این هنرمند چشم‌اندازهای صوتی را بسط و گسترش می‌دهد که شامل استفاده از ریاضیات در سینت‌سایزرها است.

In his debut experimental concept album “Music for Recurring Decimals”, which this piece is taken from, the artist have created soundtracks for cyclic numbers/ recurring decimals (E.g. 0.333333...) by encoding them with notes and/or beats, making various “number pattern driven” monotonic minimal compositions.

این هنرمند در اولین آلبوم موسیقی خود از رشته‌های عددی خاصی برای تولید نت‌های موسیقی استفاده کرده که خروجی آنها در نهایت کمپوزیسیون‌های مینیمال هستند. این قطعه از آلبوم او که «موسیقی برای اعداد ده‌دهی تکرارشونده» نام دارد و پیش از این در لیبل مستقل او (۴۳۳ رکوردز) نشر شده است انتخاب شده. نام آن لیبل وام‌گیرنده از قطعه‌ی جان کیج و گفته‌ی او در این باره است «هرچه انجام می‌دهیم موسیقی است».

“Music for Recurring Decimals” is the maiden production of 433 Records, a Hong Kong label which upholds John Cages’ famous manifesto: “Everything We Do Is Music”.
