Born atop the forgotten ruins of a crumbling city, a new civilization had emerged from the ruin wrought by demonkind upon the landscape that lay beneath them. Lead by their prophets of a new and powerful faith, the people of this civilization had risen up against the demon kings, wielding the magic of their divine allies as weapons with which to exorcise their being once more from the land. This war though hard fought had born fruit, and with the slaying of the final demon the people had rejoiced, celebrating their victories with monumental constructions to mark the beginning of a new and golden era. Foremost of these was the great cathedral that lay at the heart of their new city, built both as a space of worship for the populace and as an eternal ward of imprisonment for the souls of demonkind which could not be slain, forever condemning them to an incorporeal existence under the watchful eye of the divine.

Ages had passed since then, and time had once again ground its steady edge against the minds of the people and upon the stones and timbers that had supported the great city for so long. Ritual had been forgotten, and structures of greater grandeur had been built as the city expanded, relegating it’s once monumental cathedral to neglect. Thus it was that the falling of only a single candle had lit an aged timber in it’s great hall, in so doing weakening the ancient wards that had kept the demonic spirits at bay. Ever vigilant in their ceaseless desire to escape, the demon kings fanned this flame with their focused ire, nurturing it from a single mote into a overwhelming conflagration that tore at the runic chains that had bound them for so long. Before long, the roaring of the flames was augmented by the howls of demonic spirits set free from a millennia of imprisonment, their visages taking form in the fire as manifestations of their burning rage. As the inferno bellowed ever higher, the city cowered in fear, for it was clear that the time of DIVERGENCE had come once more.

EATBRAIN unleashes the full fury of their horde with the fourth installment in their DIVERGENCE compilation series, a gargantuan 26 track compilation filled to the brim with new tracks from EATBRAIN mainstays and newcomers alike. Brought together by their affinities for EATBRAIN’s unrestrained neurofunk sound, the artists within deliver a tour de force of the label’s guiding philosophy with ferocious basslines and terrifying sonic atmospheres alike, delivering a mammoth series of tracks set to inspire the fervor of the label’s horde in the months to come.

Forbidden Society takes no prisoners on the 21st edition of his self named label series. The follow up to the remix pack of ''Prophets Of The Doom'' that was initially release in fourth quarter of 2017, contains seven energetic remix cuts by some of FS' closest allies, most valued artists and scene favorites. Rotterdam based ''ABIS'' turns 3RDKND's ''Fire & Blood'' inside out with some lethal production skills.''Agressor Bunx'' gives Demon Shogun a splendid treatment whilst respecting the attitude of the original cut. ''Inward, Hanzo and Randie'' team up for a the rework of ''Sellout''. Whilst remaining the ambiance of the original, a layer of sturdy sounds are added. ''Maztek'' uses his years of remix experience to create the tough sounding refix of ''Benga''.
Additional remixes come from Czech Republic based  Holotrope, Fragz from Portugal and Deathmachine from United Kingdom.

The sky was different that night. Though clear and cloudless, full of many stars that shone with luminous intensity, something was missing. It was as though someone had cloven the galaxies in twain, sundering the universal whole into two eerily separate pieces. The warrior Orion had been struck down, and elsewhere in the night the two dippers leaked inky darkness from within their ever full cups. The roar of leo rang out silent, libra’s scales were detached, and gemini bore forth not twins into the universe but rather two distinct entities tied not to each other. On the planet below, great seers and sages scrambled to make sense of this portentous occurrence, beseeching their gods and consulting their oracles with an urgency in the face of a fate that came unknown to their doors.

For there beneath the sundered sky arose creatures of myth and legend, horrors conjured forth from the terrors of sleep and raised from the sacred graves where honored dead had safely lain. The souls of some few living departed their bodies, wandering aimlessly about as phantoms in their own world, peering forth through a shrouded and ethereal veil into the rooms in which their bodies and those they loved still slept. Above, the void that sliced the sky called softly, beckoning to its levied host to walk the world in the absence of the living. Theirs was an existence of horror, condemned to shadow and storied tales that existed not under light of sun nor star. Yet here, amidst the watchful blindness of their ominous controller, they had been graced with darkness amidst which they could be born. For this was the night of fears, when the terror of the mind stood alongside the body that had made it. In creeping darkness, under sundered sky, this was the night of the BLACK STREAK.

SMOOTH returns to Eatbrain with a momentous single release, BLACK STREAK. Rallying the monstrous menagerie of the EATBRAIN horde with the frantic tonalities of its twin tracks, BLACK STREAK & ROUGHER, SMOOTH injects his hyperenergetic sonic sequences into the ears of the horrendous horde, propelling them further under the darkness of the BLACK STREAK.
