Did you know Singapore's best kept secret goes by the name of TAJ? Tim de Cotta (bass/vocals), Audrey Tengkey (piano, keys and synth) and Teo Jia Rong (drums) form the exciting contemporary Jazz trio TAJ.

Their forthcoming "The Astral Journey" EP will be released with local independent record label, Darker Than Wax. It's a cross pollination of beats, psychedelia, post-rock, breaks and everything it takes to please the discerning ears of contemporary Jazz fans.

We gratefully premiere the title track, which is by far the most organic piece of music on the EP. If you like Robert Glasper, you need to feast your ears on this fasho!

The EP comes out January 30th and includes remixes from Dutch producer Jaël and Cosa Nostra from Singapore.

Pragmatic Theory proudly presents ‘One Continuous Moment’ by Es-K.
Es-K is best known for his 24 part series “Spontaneous Grooves” and his LP “Serenity” featuring A.G. of DITC, General Steele, C-Rayz Walz, and more. His latest offering “One Continuous Moment” is a collection of instrumentals made during May and June of 2015, performed live using the SP404. As a resident and acknowledged in the beat scene in Vermont, Es-K is also recognizable from his presence on record label Cold Busted. 'Daku' is the single off of the 'Malinao'  EP recorded over the past couple weeks amidst this transition into a new reality. 

I am currently locked down on Siargao Island (Philippines) with no plans or way to make it back home until the situation settles. Until then all we can do is remain creative and positive as possible. The world is on pause, so no matter where you are; we're all in this together. Be safe everyone. Hope you enjoy this EP recorded over the past couple weeks. Much Love from the Island.
