Here at Perplexity Music, we our extremely proud to introduce our first release on the label after months of waiting. As our aim is to become the pinnacle of melodic progressive house music, what better way than to start it of with a tremendous 4 track EP from the sensational Alex H. The Perth based producer has been climbing up the progressive ladder since 2012 & his remarkable talent can be heard instantly so take a moment to revel in the delight that is music for the soul. 

The first release of the EP, "No Turning Back" is a delectable vocal masterpiece that locks into the core of our emotions & expands in our minds. Comprised  up of tantalizing chords that emit solid & crisp sounds, steady kicks & brilliant melodies, the overall atmosphere is one that is vibrant & striking. The soothing warm vocals provided by Mona Moua blend perfectly with the flow of the production & the deliverance of the thought provoking lyrics are conveyed so beautifully.

Next up in this quality package is another out of this world collaboration & again, with another master of melodies that is Netherland sensation Roald Velden. Also having worked together previously, more prominently on Roald's album, the blend of these talents has earned a great following due to the pure emotion & the top notch effort & time they put into their productions. Prepare to delve into a journey of warm, blissful & magical textures that swoop right in the moment you press play. That's right, it really is that astounding.  With the colorful combination of the melodic elements, the superb heart felt sounds flow freely in a mix up relaxed percussion work & sweet piano lines once again. 

Last but not least is a huge collaboration with the gifted French talent James Woods so you know you’re in for a dynamic experience with "Atitlan". Having worked on the smashing release "Guadalupe" earlier this year, the outcome of what these two producers create is an explosion of luscious sound & this time is no different. Keeping with the gorgeous melody arrangements, the signature sounds of both can be heard so remarkably such as the luring piano lines pressed side by side powerful chord progressions. Add in the subtle female harmonized vocals that tie the production together & you have this easy on the ears, laid back production. 

As well as the 3 magnificent productions,  "No Turning Back" also has a dub version which is the last release on the EP & this is for those that want to create their own moving story in the minds & with the melodic elements like more evident, that'll be easy to get lost into. 
This is just an small insight as to what to expect from us so we hope you'll stick around and support us through the exciting times ahead. Perplexity Music will be the place to catch up on your daily dose of that melodic medicine we all crave & we can guarantee we aim to deliver. We here believe that music is an elegant pathway into thoughts, our inner most secretive thoughts that can only be released when our true self are woken by sounds that engulf any inhibitions & make them fade away. Our next producer has done exactly that with his productions to date. We bring you Tomek Krajewski aka Bee Hunter. The Poland based producer stormed into the scene with full force, engulfing us all in his tracks such as "Agava" on Sunset Melodies, "Ionized" on Fuzzy Recordings & "The Sin" on Pineapple Digital. 

It is a pleasure to have him produce this breathtaking 3 track EP for us & what a delight it is to be able to wander of into a scenic sunset that never ends in our musical world.  The first stunning track titled "Blue Lagoon" is as gorgeous as it sounds, just think, an isolated patch of paradise where the waters around you are a glistening combination of blues & turquoises. With nothing around you but this serene, melody fused production, it clambers the air with a generous variety of chord progressions, powerful bass lines & hypnotic kicks. Add in the brilliantly devised piano line that runs through bringing out the beach like feeling, the aura becomes increasingly chilled and soothing. A bright & warm way to start this journey  into the haven of light.

 Following this, we have the tropical & euphoric sounds of "Isla Negra". This wonderful track retains the sweet melodies from the former track except it takes a more energetic & on the go feel with the increased speed of the chords & percussions, this time slightly blending in the piano with both for a more subtle yet prominent sound. This superb & skillfully composed track pays homage to the beautiful region that is located on the dazzling coastal lines of Chile. From start to finish, you can feel the powerful textures of the sounds forming dynamically to create the perfect summer aura regardless of what season it is. The simple yet thoughtful finish of the crickets chirping brings a well placed & calming end to an exquisite piece of art. 
Last but not least to complete this tremendously amazing EP is a more chilled out & relaxed production and a great way to close this fine selection of tracks. "Crystal" is as the name suggests, a rich, gleaming &  remarkably beautiful release comprised up of uplifting yet soothing melodies, light pads & again a wonderful range of chords and soft piano lines. The subdued sounds work well as a moment of resting & thought for the listeners with the occasional vocal lines cropping through adding to the tranquil atmosphere of the track.  

We hope you enjoyed this quality EP from Bee Hunter & we most certainly hope to have given you a slice of heaven that is melodic progressive house at its best. "Vincenzo" is laced with some of the most blissful sounds you will hear, it creates an opening between the cool springs to the warm summers. The various synths that are used in the break down bring on a bout of  the luscious melodies sweeping through majestically.
