Sash's first official mixtape, 'BloodDiamond' was released on january 31st, 2015. After making music for years, Sash felt it was time to release and distribute an official mixtape to the public, and who better to work with then his long time friend and producer Chris Hayes. The project was mainly produced by Chris Hayes making it an interesting, energetic, and creative piece of work. The album was produced and drafted in New Orleans, La, and recorded and mixed in San Francisco, Ca at different fur studios. 

The theme of the mixtape is directly derived from the name, BloodDiamond, Sash spends most of his time in the studio, working long hours and nightshifts. The mixtape represents the idea of working hard for the Diamonds, or money. There are recurring ideas in the album, one of them being that Sash's family immigrated to the United States, and due to their hard work, Sash explains that this opened up opportunities for him to pursue his passion.
