In the new episode of our podcast, we present Nika Westner (@nikawestner). She is a DJ from Landshut, Germany. Her enthusiasm and passion for electronic music is present and grows every time she is playing. When she started DJing, she focused on playing solid Techno, meanwhile adding Melodic Techno and Afro House to her collection. She not only loves to dance to the music but also to let herself fall deeper and deeper into its driving sounds.
On her mix, she said it has a driving, melodic and deep sound and that for her it's partly emotional - she hopes you can feel it too.

La Mer is a producer, cellist, DJ and composer previously based in Tel Aviv and currently based in The Hague, The Netherlands. She has a classical background as a cellist, playing with orchestras and improvisation ensembles, as well as extensive work in music production and electronic composition for media. She combines her classical roots with her passion for electronic music and creates her own unique sound. She cherishes the idea that genre isn’t the important part of the music, but the flow and progress. Her productions and mixes lay on the verge between ethereal synth sounds, deep strings and different rhythmic approaches. She is the host of ‘Kaparaad’ on Komrad.net.

"I usually think way too much before recording a radio show or a mix for a podcast, about the environment I want to create. This time I only had one thing in mind - what would be great to play at a queer party but also to listen to alone at home? As I have experienced both, it came quite naturally, so I wish you all a wonderful dancing time with this bouncy colourful mix."
