This Sonic Liberation Front has been orchestrated on stolen land. We pay our respects to the traditional owners of this land – the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation and their ancestors, elders past, present, and emerging. We stand with our First Nations brothers and sisters in their ongoing resistance. Sovereignty remains unceded.

From Palestinians and allies in the diaspora, all the way in Naarm (Melbourne, Australia), the United Kingdom, and the United States – we take charge through this electronic intifada. we raise our voices, we will not stop talking. We seek justice, for the death and oppression of human life. We unite through sound against the structure of segregation and discrimination towards minority groups. While they thrive in our lands and blood, we are here to resist alongside you.   

We demand oppressors address the colonialism of our homes, the apartheid, the blatant ethnic cleansing of our people, the violations of international law, state sanctioned violence, and settler-colonial invasion backed by imperialist machines against our people.

We are another cog to the well-oiled regime of systematic racism, apartheid, and exploitation that has bonded us together with our brothers and sisters around the world who suffer under the same fate. We stand together through sound to fight the system that has controlled the oppressed and taken our lives and lands.

Falastin, we refuse silence.

Falastin, we stand in resistance.
We are not free until you are free.

No peace without justice.
No justice without return.
Resistance is existence.

Sonic Liberation Front - Radio Alhara - ZamZam Sounds - 30/09/2021

After dropping no less than three compilations over the Summer months, 3024 shifts its focus back to releasing genre-defying EP's, this time by one of the brightest talents on the bass spectrum: Otik. 

The prolific Londoner brings us four excellent mood excursions ranging from the euphoric to the straight up nasty. Title track "Soulo" is the soundtrack for a post-covid world with its contemporary approach to m25 cornfield rave euphoria, while "Paradise Mode" reinterprets the deeper 90s Headz vibes of luminaries such as Lemon D and J Majik. "Lightyear Dub" is the penultimate 3024 track, with its sci-fi atmospheres and propelling beats and basslines, and will surely be a staple in many DJ sets. As the closer to this EP, "Garuna" is a rough, moody beast of a tune inhabiting that exciting 100-110 territory.

When Fejká launched his first studio album, Reunion last year listeners were quick to point out his eclecticism. With the release, the German electronic music producer cemented his style with sounds that are at once ethereal and dynamic, celestial but also very much grounded on the dancefloor. Fejká’s latest single, ‘Unfold’ continues to walk the tenuous line between introspection and expression, with wondrous melodies and driving beats. The track is restrained and subtle, taking mind and soul on a journey without climaxes or extremes. There’s a sense of warmth to Fejká’s compositions, which somehow approximate electronic soundscapes to something very personal, folksy even. “I think it’s important to always try out new sounds to keep the creative flow in my head alive. It feels satisfying to release something different and new because it helps me shape my music taste to an open-minded but still focused sound,” says the producer about his new track. ‘Unfold’ is definitely open-minded; moods, emotions and colours unfold with such nuance that pigeonholing the track in any specific genre is impossible. What’s absolutely clear though, is Fejká’s development and maturing into a producer who is increasingly confident to delve into an ever vaster range of emotions.
