Lucy Latta from Wexford has pulled off one fo the biggest results in the history of Irish evening with her second place finish at the prestigious Badminton Horse Trials. Lucy finished second behind New Zealander Caroline Powell. It was a fairytake weekend for the Irish amateur as she and her horse, RCA Patron Saint came from 46th overall after dressage to make the podium with some heroics on the cross country course and the showjumping discipline. It is the best result by an Irish competitor at the prestigious event in 59 years.

Colin passed away on Friday the 3rd of May 2019........ the bravest person I ever met and had the pleasure to talk to, to know, to interview, to be in his company, has gone home to rest. A warrior, a champion, a friend, a son, a brother, a daddy and a husband. Jango you inspired me from the moment I met you. Someone that most of us and I can only aspire to be like. Your example on how to live and love life you have engraved in the hearts of many. You leave behind a legacy that not many will ever match. Thank you for our short friendship, your example, your inspiration, your kindness. You opened your heart to so many. You leave a hole today in the hearts of many particularly, your beautiful wife and children and your own family in your home town. Rest well in heaven today, Colin Jango Fleming. X.
