This is a song I wrote, because I'm moving to Florida for some time to start learning more about recording, mixing, and mastering music and start building my record company as well. My name is Philip (PhillyD) D'Avilar. I am the 20 year old CEO of Dirty Garage Records. Music has been my passion since elementary school. When I was 8 years old my parents bought me a drum set and I attended lessons at Winthrop University, where I ended up going to school for a year for a music degree. I was in the school band while I was in elementary school and continued to be a part of it until I reached Winthrop. Through the years I picked up various instruments because I wanted to create music, but I didn't always have a guitarist, pianist, singer, etc. around to play the parts for me. The only thing I could think to do was to pick up the instruments and learn them myself. I started recording my own music and I even got into making beats. I currently attend Full Sail University for a degree in Recording Arts. I love to play instruments, record, mix, and master music, sing, rap, and anything else that has to do with creating a work of art. DAP Industries will not only focus on music. I love writing stories and I always have images in my head for movies and cartoons. My goal is to make DAP Industries one of the most known labels in the world for movies, music, cartoons, and graphic design.
