When Charlie passed just over a year ago, I found myself compelled to pay homage to this inspired and inspiring being. I could feel a particular kind of kinship with him, and wish we had had more jams between us. His style of smoky, soulful vocals, and his jazzy-funky guitar taste made a lasting impression on me (along with his incorrigible, jesting nature). 

Here's to Zach--may the impact of his presence continue to ripple out into the world and inspire~
