synthesizers

This is the first third or so of Tallis' motet Salve intemerata for five voices, performed and recorded using a modular synthesizer. Modules by Synthesizers.com, MOTM, SSL, Grove Audio, and MegaOhm Audio were used. Reverb is Valhalla Room.

Salve intemerata (Thomas Tallis)

A little improvisation done with our new Modulus 002.  One pass, no overdubs, just a bit of delay. Very much a CS80-inspired sound, programmed by Richard Lacy and Sarah MacDonald.

This is the first part of Sicut cervus desiderat, composed by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina (1525 - 1594), reinterpreted on a modular synthesizer by Richard Galbraith. This recording features the Synthesizers.com Q150 and Q107 filters, and the Grove Audio PM Resonator.
