ਦੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਸਾਡੇ ਉਸ ਪਰੀ-ਚਿਹਰਾ ਦੋਸਤ ਦੀ ਫਾਹੀ ਵਿਚ ਹਨ ।
Both the religion and the actions of the world are in the grip of my beloved, handsome and fairy-faced friend.

ਯੱਕ ਨਿਗਾਹਿ ਜਾਂ-ਫਿਜ਼ਾਇਸ਼ ਬਸ ਬਵਦ ਦਰਕਾਰਿ ਮਾ ॥ ੨ ॥ ੨ ॥
ਉਸਦੀ ਇੱਕੋ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਮਰਾਣ ਵਧਾ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਥੇਰੀ ਹੈ ।
Just one of his (blessed) looks, that prolongs life instantly, is enough for me." (2) (2)
