These past years Lucky Done Gone has been steadily paving his path towards being a
permanent fixture in the dj-scene. His contagious and energy driven sets, friendly vibe
and connecting powers have not been going unnoticed, even far beyond the Dutch
borders. Besides show-packed weekends in The Netherlands, Lucky played France,
Germany, Lithuania and he also did an Asia-tour last year.

With a unique blend of energy, passion, and technical skill, Lucky Done Gone consistently captivates his audience. His sets are a mixture of eternal sounds: house, 90’s techno, 00’s trance, Leftfield and anything fresh for the dancefloor he just dug up. Bringing the crowds modest vibes, but also the more emotional side of things. Ever since his first introduction to the audience, the special connection between the crowd and Lucky Done Gone has only grown stronger.

As a producer Lucky Done Gone has worked hard on his own music these past years. This has led to releases on DGTL Records in '22 and '24, his Brainwave EP on Paradiso Vinyl Club (2023), a remix for Jungle By Night ft. Merol (2025) and a remix for Brass Rave Unit (2024). With more releases in the planning, this part of Lucky’s path is set to see more highlights in the future.

The years 2024 and 2025 have been a special period so far. Touring Asia, followed by a tour around the Netherlands with TLM (Tjade, Lucky Done Gone, Moody Mehran) that visited renowned concert halls like Paradiso and 013, and sold-out faster than they would have ever dreamed of. The rest of the year was looking bright too, with a summer filled with festivals like Awakenings, Into The Woods, The Crave, Ohm, Down the Rabbit Hole, Orbit Festival, ZeeZout Festival, and, last but not least, the Bravo tent at Lowlands.

In 2022 Lucky Done Gone set-up his own platform ‘Modus’ at club Parallel on the north side of Amsterdam. It’s here that he can connect people and show his diverse musical taste in multiple ways, which goes far beyond ‘just’ house and techno. Looks like you don’t have to try hard to see or hear Lucky Done Gone, as he will be around almost everywhere this coming year.

This remix is taken from the excellent Lives Through Magic cassette compilation to benefit the Ghost Ship fire in Oakland. All proceeds (minus physical production costs and shipping) will be equally divided between the Gray Area Foundation For The Arts (an Oakland 5013c organization that has set up a fire relief fund, as seen here: www.youcaring.com/firevictimsofoaklandfiredec232016-706684) and the Trans Assistance Project, which is an ongoing program that helps trans folks meet their real-time financial, legal, and medical needs.

The one to kick off our new imprint will be the Bulgarian hardware wizard KiNK. Best known for his live performances, teemed with explosive energy, which for a consecutive year puts him to the number one spot of live acts on RA Poll, he is also one of house’s most in demand producers. KiNK has worked with DGTL for quite some time, including last year’s audiovisual installation ‘Transmission Tower’, where the first track ‘Neutrino’ was born.

The melodic 'Neutrino', kicks off with syncopating bassline. Its interconnecting layers organically jump over and under each other, reflecting the organic character of KiNK’s live performances, where every knob touch and turn matters. On the latter, he built the B-sider 'Dynamo': "I loaded my favourite element from Neutrino in my computer and I tweaked the sound through various weird devices in my studio, till it sounded like a completely new track." As usual, he added a few endless loops on the record, "for the adventurous DJs", exclusively for the 12''.

DGTL builds bridges between music styles and genres, aiming to blend different audiences and cultures. Our line-ups are a combination of the power of our global DGTL brand, and all the beauty that local cultures hold. We want to be inclusive for every gender, sexual orientation, origin, color and country. Everyone always should be and feel welcome at DGTL.

With DGTL Records we build on our festival’s musical theme of an evocative cross section of the sounds and styles; showcasing forward thinking, cutting edge artists. Besides this, the label also functions as a platform for newcomers. This results in the creation of a coherent selection of music with a true family vibe; we want artists to feel connected to the label, the people behind it and to the other artists. 

Our in-house label DGTL Records emerged from the DGTL festival brand and has a single focus on music and community. It combines both upcoming talents together with established artists, bringing unique music and cross-over sounds that both add to the electronic music spectrum.
