The DGTL Barcelona Mix Series debuts with Temple resident Niixii. The series, set to encompass music from across the varied spectrum of Barcelona's clubland, will feature artists that make up the sound of DGTL, but also the sound of Barcelona. Encompassing a range of genres, from melodic techno, to it is our mission to capture the sound of this beautiful city and pay homage to the incredibly high standard of DJing that can be found throughout the city.

For REC009 we are excited to have a new face join the Reconsider family - Ayan. All the way from India the multi-talented artists has been making waves in the scene with prior releases on Applied Magic, Marginalia, Urge To Dance and many more. His captivating productions have shaken dance floors from Mexico to Berlin and he has already shared the line-up with international heavyweights such as Dixon and many more.

REC009 is a collaboration with the Felix E and Michael Ritter, who as the founders of the imprint Reconsider need little introduction. The main track 'Plane of Pleasure' is an energetic house track that dominates with classic, yet time-less chord stabs and a solid groove in its foundation.

The second track, 'Dream Scheme', impresses with its sound design and dominant baseline. With its harsh, metallic stabs on one side and vocals on the other it creates strong contrasting soundscapes - a unique listening experience.

'Everything We Started' rounds of the EP on deeper, groovy note - balancing woobly bass sounds with stabby synth sounds on top. All around, the EP perfectly blends classical house elements with sound design of the new era - so make sure not to miss this one.

Besides this, the label also functions as a platform for newcomers. This results in the creation of a coherent selection of music with a true family vibe; we want artists to feel connected to the label, the people behind it and to the other artists. 

Our in-house label DGTL Records emerged from the DGTL festival brand and has a single focus on music and community. It combines both upcoming talents together with established artists, bringing unique music and cross-over sounds that both add to the electronic music spectrum.
