2010年よりDJとしてのキャリアをスタート。渋谷WOMBにてクラブスタッフとして働き、自身のパーティ"How High"をオーガナイズするなど様々な形で音楽との繋がりを広げる。2013年にはヨーロッパ・ベルリンへ単身渡欧し、世界各国のアーティスト達との交流を経て自らのセンスやグルーブに磨きをかける。ミニマルを軸にハウスミュージックを織り交ぜる独自のグルーブを構築し、ベルリンから帰国後も精力的に活動し国内外問わず多くのDJ達との共演を重ね、BerlinのCDVでの出演やFrankfurtのSilvergoldでPhilipp BoßやPhil Evansと共演し話題を呼んだ。音楽への探究心は留まる事を知らず、近年では楽曲制作にも力を入れており2022年にHow Highレーベルから自身の楽曲がバイナルでリリースした。

Started a career as a DJ since 2010. Worked as a club staff at WOMB Club in Tokyo and expanded his connection with music in various ways, including organizing his own party "How High". In 2013, he has moved to Berlin and by having relationship with artists from around the world, he refines his sense and groove. Building a unique groove that interwoven house music with minimal as the axis. After returning from Berlin he has became a resident DJ his own party "HOW HIGH" He has been paying with a lot of DJs in Japan and from overseas.
His passion and Inquiring mind for music will never stop and in recent years I have also been focusing on his own music productions.
In 2022.his song will be released on the vinyl from the How High label.

新旧を問わずフレッシュなサウンドを求め、日々レコードディグに情熱を捧げる。2011年にDJとしてのキャリアをスタートさせてから、これまでに数々の海外アーティストの来日サポートやパーティーのオーガナイズを務めてきた。玄人好みのアーティスト達を招集し、様々なヴェニューでパーティーを行ってきた"eclec”と大阪は北浜の川沿いに位置するダイニングカフェ&Islandにて行われるdwarfが代表的なものとして挙げられる。
2020年にレコードにフォーカスを当てたプロジェクトDiGDUGを新たに始動。2021にはフランクフルトのレーベルBlank stateにMixを提供。直近ではソウルのMagicoを招集し、Circus OsakaにてDiGDUGを開催。

2023.07.28に開催されたFreaky Fusion at Mitsuki Tokyoでの Live mixです。

ーコンセプトがあれば教えてください。
特にはありませんが、最近買ったレコードを主にプレイしました。とても楽しんでやれたので、その感じが伝わってもらえれば幸いです。ある先輩には東京っぽい感じでやってたねと言われました。

Minkyu is a DJ based in Seoul, playing house-oriented music. He has been playing Chicago/Detroit/Classic House, based on the music he first found attracted to. Driven by the groovy sounds and minimal elements, Minkyu brings in a wide variety of house music and melts it in his set with his own unique flow under a steady pace. With a great passion for music and djing, he craves for development. Minkyu will keep moving forward to achieve what he pursues.

Yeonjun started as a professional DJ in 1999, as a resident at club Matmata, located in Hongdae, Seoul. The club was an iconic house music club that ravers from that time period still remember and cherish to this day. During his residency, he introduced artists such as Derrick Carter to the listeners in Seoul.

In 2011, Yeonjun moved to the Itaewon area in Seoul to open Mystik, yet another iconic house/techno venue that is well known as one of the most prestigious clubs in Asia even after its closure. In year 2016, he opened a venue called Deviate in Hannam-dong, an area close to Itaewon.

Yeonjun is a true safeguard of the electronic music scene in Seoul, a great director that built up many iconic clubs, and a great DJ whose selections have a whole history of their own.


디제이연준은 1999년 서울 홍대에 위치한 클럽 마트마타의 레지던트로 전문 DJ를 시작했다. 그 클럽은 그 시대부터 오늘날까지 여전히 기억하고 소중히 여기는 상징적인 하우스 음악 클럽이었다. 레지던트 기간 동안 그는 서울에 있는 청취자들에게 데릭 카터 같은 예술가들을 소개했다.

2011년, 연준은 MYSTIK을 열기 위해 서울 이태원 지역으로 활동을 옮겼으며, MYSTIK은 문을 닫은 후에도 아시아에서 가장 유명한 클럽 중 하나로 잘 알려진 또 다른 상징적인 하우스/테크노 베뉴이기도 하다. 그는 2016년 이태원 인근 지역인 한남동에 DEVIATE를 열었다.

디제이연준은 서울 일렉트로닉 음악계의 진정한 수호자, 많은 우상적인 클럽을 만든 디렉터이며, 그리고 그들만의 역사를 가진 DJ이다.
