Get ready for a sonic and energetic Rap album with raw and powerful vocals and gritty beats. The songs are simultaneously poetic and rhythmic with catchy lyrics. Highlighting the beat-making Influences from Trap/Pluggnb/Drill/ and sample-based Hip-Hop music. This is my 5th album that I've fully self-produced. As X from the movie " Holes" would say.. I started getting these songs together WINTER/SPRING 2024. I had been playing around with trap beats a little bit and decided It would be cool to see what I would do with them. It's a hidden track on the song ShokWave called BlaKnight.

When I got my first skateboard, I spent an entire summer's day learning to fall up. I was mostly busting my ass. It was way past curfew, getting dark and I had finally done it, I fell up. My mama came enraged I was out so late but saw me crying and smiling and she figured out what was going on. Since then I have been trying to stand tall and keep pushing.

RAPTASTIC is a collection of Experimental- Sample based rap songs recorded between 2022 and 2023. Influences of Soul Music, Hardcore Hip-hop, and R&B I listened to over the last few years are intertwined into the sound design. Each song is filled with condensed sample-heavy elements sounding grimey, live and cinematic. The beats are often minimalist and at other points sonically filled with a thick resonance. The lyrics are Impressive and tasteful. Each rhyme adds meaning to the next, creating a bouncing flow of thought. I tend to mix fun wordplay with sporadic tempo changes for depth and complex patterns.  After a whole lotta experimenting with simplicity and new sample techniques made this tape. I also incorporated live instruments and original noise-induced samples from my very own bedroom. ASHY EDDY IS THE MF TRUTH TOO THESE BEATS NO JOKE.

TAKE A MOMENT AND CHILL THE FUCK OUT. Life can be stressful and I encourage everyone to do what makes you happy. Life is short and your future self is counting on you! But resting and LIVING are important parts of each art. Teaching myself confidence and growing out of my shell won’t easy. The harsh truth hurts when spoken into existence! I've been brutally honest with myself and if you gonna keep it real with anybody keep it with yourself. Take this with you as you listen through. 
This is my third official album, all recorded in my bedroom. I don’t think I've had so much fun making a record but it also made it through much turmoil and hardship. Of course, I be scared of being queer and a rapper but I try to let it be a superpower and not a crutch. TAP INTO YO SUPERPOWERS. I PRESENT TO YOU MY BEST WORK YET RAPTASTIC. Sometimes life hit you all at once and you feel like yo drowning. You can be getting all the things you thought would fill these voids and get hit in the stomach. This one for anybody who has been hit in the stomach and still trying to keep it moving. The cover art, made by myself, shows the perplexion that depression can cause and why it's important to dive into these feelings and not rn away. I had a lot of fun making this and did it in one take.
